I have a new name for gender queers like me who are also Aspie: qweird (adj.) and qweirdo (noun) qweirdos (plural). Because being gender divergent is queer, but being Aspie is weird. The two together create an intersectional being that is a totally different animal than either gender queers or Aspies alone. Thus, qweirdo.
I've been watching myself interact on video Zoom meetings and its becoming very obvious that I'm autistic. Like I never noticed this before. I always knew I was Aspie from the inside, the way I dealt with the world internally; but I never realized how autistic I look from the outside to other people. Hard to believe it took me five decades to realize this. No wonder I've struggled all my life.

I look in the mirror and I see a man; I see myself as a man, but I have a body that's different from most men. It's an XX body. I call it X2 (X squared). I'm X2 Man.That's why my body looks different. The move X-Men is about mutants with special powers. That describes me pretty well. X2 Man is the most mutant of all, and has weird (and mostly useless) superpowers.
here's a touching and sweet video about a columbus indiana teenager who organized her town's first pride
