During a random search I stumbled upon this *working¹* 1:4 model of a 1966 Porsche 911 six-cylinder boxer motor.

It arrives in all of the separate pieces and you need to assembled it yourself :O

With a bit of luck it’ll arrive tomorrow; nice weekend project :D

1. All the bits and pieces move as they would in the real thing. They’re driven by electricity in this case tho.

Attaching the pistons to the crankshaft ⚙️

Image 2: the piston heads are now slid into the cylinder barrels (which also attach to the crankcase.

Preparing and assembling the valve guides and valve assembly.

Fitted the oil cooler, cylinder head gasket (the white big seal), and both cylinder heads.

Up next are the camshaft tunnels.

Image 1: With the valve timing tool we can line up the cogs of the camshaft and crankshaft.

Image 2: After that we can add the belt that will transfer the power.

Image 3: Time to add the cam belt cover and move to the other side.
